Evelyn Henry Reconciliation Scholarship (EHRS) Fund
The Evelyn Henry Reconciliation Scholarship Fund was established in 2017 to provide financial assistance to a female student, which includes courses in Indigenous studies and a plan to use her education to further develop reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples of Canada.
Scholarship Amounts
- The number of scholarships awarded, and the amount of each scholarship may vary annually
Highlights
- An Alberta or Saskatchewan resident for at least 2 years
- Demonstrates financial need
- Enrolled in courses/programs that will further develop reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples of Canada
- Will require a Letter of Reference and an official high school/post-secondary transcript
- A local chapter recommendation must be submitted by April 1st, but should start 1 or 2 months prior in order to complete all requirements
